What is the Tree Council of Ireland?

The Tree Council of Ireland, founded in 1985, is a non-profit organisation uniting various entities dedicated to the planting, establishment and preservation of trees across Ireland.

Our mission is to nurture a vibrant tree culture throughout Ireland by fostering both proactive engagement and widespread awareness. We are committed to enlightening the public about the intrinsic value and ecological significance of trees through dynamic events and tree-centric activities. Furthermore, we actively foster networking opportunities among our members, serving as a collaborative platform for sharing insights and resources.

As advocates for tree culture and its vital role in environmental sustainability, we proudly represent the collective voice dedicated to the establishment and advancement of Ireland's trees. We work towards the preservation and proliferation of trees to ensure they remain a cornerstone of Ireland's natural heritage and sustainable future.
