Sycamore

Sycamores are large trees that can reach heights of l00 feet (30 meters) or more, with a broad, rounded crown. Its leaves are palmately lobed, similar in appearance to other maple species. They typically have five lobes with serrated edges and are dark green in colour.
In spring, the sycamore produces clusters of small, yellow-green flowers. These flowers are not particularly showy but are important for pollination. After flowering, the tree produces distinctive winged seeds known as samaras. These seeds are arranged in clusters and are dispersed by the wind. Up to 35m.
